star-crossed melodies

hmmmm, dapet dua kata mutiara team sampah nih…eh, bukan kata mutiara sih. lebih ke bincang-bincang, kehehehhee….

A: "Woy, kumpulin laporan terus presentasi. disuruh sekarang, cepet ya!"
B: "WAaduh, gw ga bisa uey, sibuk."
A: "Sibuk ngapain?"
B: "Tidur"

X: "Woy, laporan praktikum udah selesai belum?"
Y: "Belum euy, nih lagi ngerjain pusing, susah! Lo gimana, udah?"
X: "Gw juga belum, masih ngerjain tugas PMIP (nama suatu mata kuliah). Paling ntar"
Y: "Oh iye ye…PMIP juga ada tugas. Akh tambah puyeng dah gw. Tidur aja akh…"

Do you know the Indonesian word for that title? Well, if you do, then you should know what this writing is all about.

It was Saturday night when the dead-body-society decided to go out after a long time of no going out together, all of us. We were planning on getting some grub…or dinner someplace new. Been a while since the last time we were actually spending some time together and had lectures from the ‘master’. Unfortunately, that night, the ‘master’ was unable to join us since he had a ‘project’. Yeah, that’s what happened when a lecturer has projects. He ended up abandoning his ‘loyal students’ for the ‘project’. And why am I using so many quotes-unquotes? Ah well, if you know what I mean…what kind of people have projects during saturday nights? You seek the answer, within your own wisdom.

First thing was, we go eat. [Light-so-dead-body] recommend this place around Sukajadi called D’COST. So we actually went there. And I have to say, the food were cheap! I mean, you get all-you-can-eat-rice only for 1000 rups. Come on, in an ordinary foodshack around Simpang Dago, you have to pay at least 2000 rups to get a cup of rice. In D’COST, you can get as much as you want of rice! And for half the price also!

Same goes for the drink. Let’s just take sweet-ice-tea, a very standard drink many restaurants serve. For a glass of it, you only have to pay 500 rups while in most restaurants it varies around 1500 to more than 2000 rups! I don’t know about the other food. But I think it’s quite cheap also. And FYI, this restaurant serves mainly seafood. And oh, [Tie-toe] was so worked up over the special menu served there…The Super Giant something something Crab with Singapore Sauce whatsoever. He really wanted to try it out. But it was quite expensive as it was 90000 rups! I bet it’s totally jumbo sized crab. Kewl! Anyway, the food was good (and cheap) and then we hang out for a bit before we go to our next destination which was Paris Van Java.

Just after we arrived at Paris Van Java, we just remember that it was Liverpool versus Manchester United live from Anfield that night! So we went straight to MU cafe nearby to watch the match after a long stroll looking for parking spot which was really hard to find since, yeah we know, it was saturday night. It was very crowded at the cafe as there were so many people watching. Strangely enough, there were as much as Liverpool fan as it was MU back there in the cafe. I mean, it was MU cafe, but I think there were slightly more Liverpool’s fan than the MU’s itself. Anyway, the match was very intriguing, after Scholes was red-carded in the last minutes of the game, MU scored the only goal during the injury time. To be beaten 0-1 in their own home stadium, during last minutes of the match…must be hurt for Liverpool kehehe. Well, maybe they’ll do better against Barcelona…they must.

Nothing much about Paris Van Java…except…one shocking moment for every one of us just before we decided to go home. We met a friend, and old friend from back then junior high school. She was wearing veil, and pregnant, which made us surprised as the image was very different from the same person we had known back then in junior high.

Of course, while most of us was pretty surprised, the one who was shocked the most was probably [Tie-toe]. Me, I just thought of things, of how things changed.

t’Was pretty weird that, during our driving before going to Paris Van Java, we were talking about changes, of how some of our friends have either married and have child(dren). And there it was, like, some sort of final conclusion of our discussion that night, that God showed us the sign, that everything had moved on, with the appearance of that old friend of ours.

Well, we called it a night then, as [Undress-so-dead-body] take us home one by one.

Oh yeah, as of who joined us (the dead-body’s-society) during that saturday night hang out, these are the names of the people presented at that time:

this morning, when i was just going back from cimahi, i got this little piece of information from a friend about something he found out when that friend of mine was doing his jogging on a sunny sunday morning…(too long of a sentence? well, bear with it. i want to make it quite detailed, but uh, i guess that’s enough. although i have to say that it’s not)…well, at first, i tried not to give too much thought about the piece of information that he gave and just put a nod plus a little bit of simple-regular questions…just for the sake of giving response.

and i was like, "hell…it doesn’t make any difference even though…" and that’s it. but to tell you the truth, of course, there’s always this little side of me who wanted to be there, just for the sake of observing. but again, to hell with it, hadn’t-didn’t-and-wouldn’t have been make any difference anyway.

and so, i did my sunday just os os (backwards of SO SO, so said bart simpson). did a little searching on heat exchanger stuff for my assignments, scavenging food, and play some game (i hate (NOT) morrowind, it’s addicting!).

it started raining around afternoon when i was eating with several of my friends after another friend abandoned us while he went and pick up his girlfriend somewhere (which served him well, since not long after he got his car’s tire flat mwahahhaha. it’s nothing personal dude, it’s just karma). after eating, we took a quick stroll down the road, under the rain. and that’s what i like about rains…

it drives me to make long shots…and i did. keh!

well, as i was saying, it was a long shot anyway.

let’s just go back to our hard-working-challenge…my 3 magical words for this year.

and what i don’t like about rains?? well, my ceiling’s been leaking for a while now. been trying to identify and fix it, but it came again and again. well, as long as it doesn’t leak during my sleeping time, i won’t mind. looks like the room needed quite a bit of renovation which only possible to be done by june/july. shucks.

the new semester started. and it’s another three more months before AUDC*. i have to start interviewing people again. you know what, although i have to say it’s quite fun…at certain point, it became very…let’s say…awkward. especially when the person you’re interviewing kept saying, "excuse me, what was that, pardon, huh, errrr, and some other stuff like that". the best part is when you find certain people with open-personality and easy going type. it’s just comfortable.

anywayyy, for those of you who might be interested in joining as one of committee for AUDC 2007 as a liaison officer, you can contact me. you know how to do that, don’t you. well, since if you’re reading this then it is at utmost possibility that you’re one of my friend and since you’re my friend then it is highly unlikely that you don’t have my number. awkay? good.

that’s all for now. don’t want to write too much. although, lately, i’m thinking about lots of things…interesting..things….

the last couple of weeks has been really…well…what’s the perfect word? exciting? fun? thrilling? frightening? busying? exhausting? i don’t know…

ENLIGHTENMENT!

belakangan ini gw bener-bener harus meng-unleashed beberapa aspek (sisi lain) diri gw yg selama ini gw pikir ga perlu keluar. hahahhaa…dan gw cukup salut akan sisi lain tersebut (walau kadang ada sedikit kekhawatiran juga). istilahnya klo di dragon ball sih udah jadi super saiya (super saiya 3…4 malah, ga tau sih). nah, klo gt kan berarti musuh yg dihadapin nya kuat abiz tuh. super saiya 1 freeeza, super saiya 2 cell, super saiya 3 bhu…dah abis itu gak tau. hmmm, kenapa jd dragon ball??

sial, serangan dari luar belum reda, udah mencuat konflik internal. internal nya jg ga bener-bener internal, tapi melibatkan beberapa pihak ‘induk dan anak perusahaan dan perusahaan outsourcing’ juga. dan eskalasi konflik itu terjadi, ya itu, saat masih ada ancaman serangan dari luar dan saat perekonomian negara sedang lesu.

tapi ternyata beberapa hal gak penting yg gak gw dapet di bangku pendidikan formal dan yg gw pikir (tadinya) gak mungkin diperlukan ato dikeluarkan, ternyata harus dikaji ulang juga dan mulai diaplikasikan. sampe bolak-balik cirebon-bandung sampe kurang lebih 10 kali dlm satu bulan. ada beberapa malem juga sampe ga tidur gara-gara harus rapat, diskusi, sampe patroli.

hmmm…ngomong apa?? seperti biasa…mumble jumble at star-crossed destiny’s page.

i can only hope that, whatever the outcome will be, it’s for the best and for the sake of everyone.

minggu-minggu lalu karena belum ada kerjaan yang signifikan, jadinya menghabiskan hari-hari dengan nonton. this was one of it. damned, ni film sedih juga! sial…

tapi kata temen ada yang lebih sedih juga…pay it forward??

hmmm…tapi bagus ko film nya. hehehehh…kawaii, if you know what i mean >:-)

temen kosan nonton film ini pintunya ditutup (ga tau dikunci/ga). katanya takut ketauan nangis wkaakkakakak, lemah kouuuu, makanyaaa dota duluuuu…you know who you are if you’re reading this :-p

dragon zakura…nah ini nih, serial beginian yang bikin terinspirasi! keren!! bikin semangat!!

densha otoko…wakakkaka, lumayan lucu, salut…tapi terlalu berlebihan kayaknya. tapi katanya sih terinspirasi dari kisah nyata. klo gitu bener-bener salut dah. kau sungguh beruntung yamada-san!!!

gundam seed+gundam seed destiny…bagus, nonton non stop nih jadi konsumsi sehari-hari. lumayan keren. musiknya juga oke-oke. astray red frame (lowe, bukan yg m1) keren…pake gerbera straight. tapi gak ada di serialnya. ternyata destiny kurang keren, masih oke-an freedom.

school rumble…sialan nih anime! kereen!! seperti menonton masa lalu at high school, if you know what i mean. kelakuan harima yang aneh-aneh dan lucu-lucu. i actually (really actually) know someone who actually did those kinds of things…well, ga sama-sama banget sih. tapi ya, sejenis gitu lah tingkah lakunya wakakakka…emang agak berlebihan sih (anime gituh) tapi jadi bikin nostalgia hahahahha…bikin ngakak!!!

hunter x hunter…duh, kapan nihh episode 63 dan seterusnyaaa??

harvard love story…ga jelas nonton ini. baru sampe episode 10…dalam satu bulan. gak kaya yang laennya…selesai dalam satu minggu…even in one day!

hmmm….apa lagi ya??? yang laennya film-film hollywood si…trus film-film lama…so, there’s nothing much about it.

argh! ini dia yang males. klo encounter-battle nya terlalu sering jadi ngabisin waktu. enak buat level up si. tapii klo lagi buru-buru kan jadi gak asik.
